C5311002 (5311002) is a genuine Cummins mechanical oil dipstick, designed for QSB6.7, QSC8.3, ISDE engines. It monitors oil level in the oil pan precisely. Constructed with stainless steel blade & heat-resistant nylon handle, marked with H (High) / L (Low). Works with C3900955 expansion plug and tube, essential for lubrication system maintenance.

1. Inaccurate Reading
- Causes: Bent blade, worn marks, improper insertion, non-level check
- Symptoms: Erratic level, false alarms

2. Leakage / Oil Blow-by
- Causes: Hardened O-ring, loose seat, C3900955 failure, high crankcase pressure
