Common Faults & Troubleshooting

1. Low Power, Poor Acceleration, Hard Start

• Cause：Clogged filter, insufficient fuel supply
• Fix：Check fuel pressure (<0.3MPa = clogged); inspect return flow
• Action：Replace C4989106; check primary filter/water separator

2. Rough Idle, Black Smoke, High Fuel Consumption

• Cause：Filter failure, contaminated injectors
• Fix：Inspect injectors; replace filter; test performance
• Action：Replace filter; clean/replace injectors if needed

3. Fuel Leakage at Filter

• Cause：Worn seal, under-torque, deformed housing
• Fix：Check seal; torque 45–55 N·m
