C4954905 (4954905) is a genuine Cummins coolant temperature sensor (ECT). It monitors engine coolant temperature, sends signals to ECU to control fuel injection, fan speed, and warm-up. Prevents overheating/overcooling, ensures performance, fuel efficiency, and emission compliance. Fits ISB, QSB, ISF, B/C series engines, widely used in trucks, machinery, and gensets.

Installation & Maintenance
1. Safety: Cool engine below 40°C, relieve pressure to avoid scalding.
2. Clean: Remove scale/debris from port; ensure clean threads/seal.
3. Inspect: Probe straight, housing intact, seal not cracked.
4. Seal: Apply high-temp sealant; lubricate new O-ring.
5. Install: Thread in by hand; torque to 20±3N·m evenly.
6. Connect: 2-pin plug locked; harness secured.
7. Test: Start engine; check ECU data (~2.5V at 25°C); fan cycles at 80–90°C.
8. Maintain: Inspect every 3–6 months; replace C4954905 if faulty.
