C4937363 is a magnetic pickup speed sensor (crankshaft position sensor) for Cummins B/QSB series engines. It provides critical RPM and crankshaft position signals to the ECU for injection timing, speed control, and over-speed protection. Non-contact magnetic design, no power required, strong anti-interference, oil & heat resistant.

Common Faults & Troubleshooting
1. No Start / No Tach Signal
- Cause: Sensor failure, abnormal resistance, open circuit, excessive gap
- Fix: Measure resistance (800–1000Ω); check connector; adjust air gap (0.5–2.5mm); replace if no pulse output
2. Erratic Tach, Rough Idle, Poor Acceleration
- Cause: Incorrect gap, oil/metal debris, electrical interference, damaged wiring
- Fix: Clean probe & gear teeth; reset gap; inspect shielding; replace weak sensor
3. DTC P0321/P0322 (Speed Signal Missing)
- Cause: Open/short circuit, faulty sensor, damaged gear
- Fix: Test wiring continuity; replace sensor; inspect gear for broken teeth
4. High-Speed Cutting, Power Limitation
- Cause: Weak signal, EMI interference, magnet degradation
- Fix: Verify output at high RPM; replace sensor; route wiring away from high-voltage cables
