Common Faults & Troubleshooting

• Sealing failure and oil leakage: Aging, compression deformation or excessive installation clearance, manifested as reduced hydraulic system pressure and oil leakage. Replace the 70565 O-ring and check the groove size and surface roughness
• Extrusion and damage of the seal: No backup ring installed under high pressure conditions, or the groove size is non-compliant, causing the seal to be extruded into the gap and damaged. Install a PTFE or nylon backup ring, re-machine a qualified groove and replace the O-ring
• Hardening and cracking of the seal: Long-term high temperature or contact with incompatible media, leading to reduced elasticity and failed sealing performance. Replace the O-ring with a suitable material and optimize the system oil temperature and media compatibility
• Wear and deformation of the seal: Excessive friction under reciprocating motion conditions or non-compliant surface roughness, causing wear of the seal. Improve the finish of the mating surface (Ra≤0.8μm), replace the O-ring and check the coaxiality of moving parts
